Installation Guide
Windows Installation
- Download: Click the "Download for Windows" button above
- Run Installer: Double-click the downloaded .exe file
- User Account Control: Click "Yes" if prompted
- Installation Wizard: Follow the on-screen instructions
- Choose Location: Select where to install Vidmate
- Install: Click "Install" and wait for completion
- Launch: Click "Finish" to launch Vidmate
Mac Installation
- Download: Click the "Download for Mac" button above
- Open DMG: Double-click the downloaded .dmg file
- Drag to Applications: Drag Vidmate to the Applications folder
- Wait: Wait for the copy process to complete
- Launch: Open Applications folder and double-click Vidmate
- Security: Click "Open" if prompted by macOS security
- Start Using: Vidmate is now ready to use!
Troubleshooting
Windows Defender warning?

This is a common warning for new applications. Click "More info" and then "Run anyway". Vidmate is 100% safe and contains no malware.
Mac security warning?

Go to System Preferences → Security & Privacy and click "Open Anyway" next to Vidmate. This is a standard macOS security measure.
App won't start?

Try uninstalling and reinstalling Vidmate. Make sure your system meets the minimum requirements and you have enough disk space.
Downloads are slow?

Check your internet connection. Close other applications that might be using bandwidth. Try downloading over a wired connection for better speeds.
Where are downloaded files saved?
▼
By default, downloads are saved to your Downloads folder. You can change this location in Vidmate settings.
